
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Loyola University Chicago and a historical sociologist of gender, science, and politics. To date, my work has appeared in Gender & Society, Political Power and Social Theory, and the Journal of Contemporary Ethnography and received awards from the American Sociological Association and the Society for the Study of Social Problems. I teach graduate and undergraduate courses on the sociology of gender and sexuality; science, technology, and medicine; power and society; and qualitative methods.
